HOME SWEET HOME
Much as we love our Centre on Walker Street, we have simply outgrown it. Now, thanks to the blessing of His Holiness Karmapa, we have found a handsome building ideally suited to become Kagyu Samye Dzong Edinburgh.
The new Centre is in a prime Leith location. It has a beautiful, oval shaped hall, perfect for meditation and prayer, with extra rooms for yoga, therapy and social space, including a courtyard garden. But first we need to refurbish and give it some tender loving care, which is where you come in!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
To make this dream a reality we need to work together and give whatever we can. The more we put in the more we benefit!
Skills, Time, Energy, Resource, Funds
Whatever you offer will be most gratefully received and used to create a wonderful Dharma Centre that will benefit many more people and that we can all be proud of.
Volunteer Help
We need volunteers with building skills and, just as importantly, a team of people to cook, clean and help with painting and decorating, etc.
Resources
We need computers, office items, good furniture, white goods, kitchenware, etc.
Donations
Even with volunteer help, buying and refurbishing a building is an expensive business! Whatever your donation, every penny will be well spent.
