Wheel Day: Chenrezi Puja and Mantra Celebrating Lord Buddha’s Birth and the 6th Anniversary of KSD Edinburgh

(offerings of donations, flowers, or finger food to share are welcome)

Sunday May 8 at 10:30 am 12:30 pm

Chenrezi, known as the Lord of Compassion, embodies the compassionate activity of the Buddha. This practice helps us to develop our own pure qualities for the benefit of all sentient beings. The text is recited in Tibetan. However, beginners are welcome to sit in and make a connection.

Places are limited. All sessions must be booked in advance on our website (see below).

  1. If you are fully vaccinated, or test Covid negative on the day you attend, face masks are advised on entering the building but may be removed in the Shrine Room if wished.
  2. If you are neither vaccinated or tested as negative, but are seemingly in good health, please wear a face mask whilst indoors at KSDE.
  3. If you test Covid positive or are feeling poorly, please do not attend KSDE until you are better, even if you just have a cold.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in complying with these guidelines for the benefit ourselves and each other.

Prayer and Meditation sessions are offered free of charge. However, all donations are much appreciated and go towards the upkeep of the Centre. Any such offerings enable Samye Dzong to serve the community and provide the opportunity to cultivate generosity.
