The Four Noble Truths

Introduction to the Buddha’s first turning of the Wheel of Dharma, based on a summary by the late, great Master Thrangu Rinpoche, and presented by Ani Rinchen Khandro.

These profound teachings were first expounded by the Buddha to the five ascetic sages, with whom he had practiced before his enlightenment, as they were most capable of receiving and understanding them.

They can also be studied, reflected on and understood on many levels, revealing their timeless truths for the benefit of all practitioners on the path, according to their capabilities and diligence in applying them.

As the Buddha Dharma is priceless, we continue to offer all Dharma Teachings free of charge. However, this has resulted in many people booking but not turning up. Not only does this create negative karma for them, it also prevents others from attending and causes difficulties for the Centre. Consequently, a modest £5 admin fee is now required when booking a place. This is in keeping with other Centres who have also suffered from the same issue.
